Alex Neruda is an ordinary transwoman who dreamed of becoming a popular and successful mountain climber/adventurer. 

Despite of struggles she faced due to a lack of support and motivation from her own family, Alex didn't stop from making it possible and happen by dragging her childhood friend, Dana Carter. 

However, in the midst of a yearly search for "America's Great Climber", Alex met a new member of the team she was in. Tom Smith is a Phil-Am and a professional adventurer and climber. 

On the other side, Alex never believes in the idea of love at first sight, until she was starstruck and falls in love with him.  Alex never felt in love this way before; she never felt butterflies in her stomach nor made her heart fluttered.
