"Who's there?.." An angelic voice escaped from her lips. I made my way towards her and was about to take the blindfold off when she suddenly moved back in haste. "No! Don't take it off!"
"Why?" I asked. What's so dangerous about taking the blindfold off?
"Just.. Don't.."
I was about to grab her shoulders but then like earlier, she backed away.
"Don't touch me!"
What's wrong with her? she's my mate for fuck's sake! can't she feel our bond?!
"Who are you and why are you here?!" She asked in an alert manner.
I heaved out a sigh and held her hand in mine, disregarding the fact about what she would do.

I heard the the snow crunching under foot as I ran as fast as my legs would take me through the forest. The air whipped through my hair as I ran, creating a ribbon like flow behind me. I dipped and dodged around trees, careful not to trip or run into anything. Just a little further, I thought to myself. "OKAY! I surrender!" I cried, falling back into the icy blanket with tears of laughter flowing from my eyes. ********* I gasped as I woke from my dream. I looked at the forest around me. Cold, dark and empty. I still had hope that they were just hiding and that this was all just a bad dream, but after a moment or two of listening to the trees creaking, I sighed. I was alone.
