Before, if I would be asked to choose between sunset and sunrise, I would always choose sunrise because it signifies a new hope and fresh beginning. The sunrise would tell me that there are always better days ahead of me. It taught me to conquer my every day with a smile. It was a sign for me to grow to become a better person - a better a man, even.

But, then you came into my life like how the sun would rise as the moon would slowly fade.

Now, if I would be asked to choose between sunset and sunrise, I would surely choose sunset. It was a reminder that all my battles had a conclusion. It reminded that there is always a tomorrow - a tomorrow to make it up for the yesterday. The sunset taught me how some things could end beautifully - just like the two of us.
