 Fang Inuzuka, a Jonin in the Hidden Leaf Village, had always partnered up as the fourth man with Team 8 which consisted of his older cousin, Kiba Inuzuka, Byakugan-user, Hinata Hyuga, and the silent insect manipulator, Shino Aburame, along with the team's instructor, Kurenai-Sensei. Much to his dismay, that didn't include team missions and just offered training exercises whenever he wanted. Because his involvement was so limited, the Inuzuka lacked skills when it came to hand-to-hand combat. 

Now, long after the Fourth Great Ninja War, Fang strives to make a name for himself and steps outside of his cousin's shadow, receiving a special request about a certain Uchiha resident of the Village. Looking for guidance within the special teachings of the current seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, he aims to become a better ninja than all the rest, even if it means completing his first mission ever as a jonin underneath the hidden orders of the Fifth Hokage, Lady Tsunade. 

With being uncertain as to what's special about having a nindo, it becomes clear to him down the line of it all. 

To have a ninja way tells all you need to know about someone. 
In this case, Fang needs to find his if he wants to make a name for himself in the village of Konoha- and fast!
