ARIEL REFUSED TO believe that her sister had died running off with an alleged murderer. Sure, Sarah's not the brightest bulb in the box but Ariel would like to give her a bit more credit than that. With her dad ignoring any questions she asks (nothing new there), she turns to the Pogues, the only other people who could possibly know what had happened and why her sister was dead because surely it couldn't be for nothing. So, she finds herself at the self-proclaimed Chateau, demanding that the three mourning Pogues tell her what exactly went on that summer, from start to finish. Ariel got a lot more than she bargained for in hind sight, but to get her sister back? She joins their little group and goes on a journey to clear John B's name and make sure that Peterkin and Big John got the justice that they deserved, even when it meant turning on her own flesh and blood (not that she was their biggest fan anyway.)
