Helen May Todd works as a background artist for Joey Drew Studios, the parent company of SillyVison, in her new hometown of New York City. She has to Prove the studio to competitors and prove herself to her boss time and time again. Or at least, she had to. Her career was endangered with the stress from the merge between Joey Drew Studios and Connor Maintenance & Machines in 1943 and ended when she finally had enough of Joey's damned machine in 1944. Now, in 1964, she's back, wondering why Joey wants her back after all these years.

The year is 1947, two years after World War 2. Almost 17 year-old John J. Thomas is currently living with his uncle and mother. Them being poor and living in an apartment that can barely stay intact, John decided to work three part-time jobs to help fund for the rent. After earning 10 dollars instead of 10 cents from a single portrait sale, his customer suggested he works for a cartoon making company named 'Joey Drew Studios' due to how well he can sketch and paint. After working there for a few months, things start to not seem like they did from day one. Everything was going fine at the Joey Drew Studios. Henry is thinking while walking back and forth beside of Joey, who's drawing another frame of Bendy. "I know! We should try to add an antagonist" claims Henry, walking directly towards his pal. "Yeah, great idea, buddy. And do you have an idea?" "Yes. A little devil. A woman devil. Let's call her... Ugh... A name starting with a D..." "What about Dinah?" questions Joey. "What a beautiful name. Let's call her Dinah." replies Henry, satisfied. ~ No one such as Joey Drew is as greedy as him.
