The Metal Virus has come and gone, and now it's time for Sonic and the gang to try and pull their lives back together.
This is my interpretation of what happens to the characters once the Metal Virus is finally gone. I've only read up to issue 26 of the IDW Sonic comics, so what I use in the story will be based on that as well as the few spoilers I know from issue 27.
I don't own the characters or the cover art, only the story. Characters are property of SEGA and IDW Publishing, and the cover art is by Adam Bryce Thomas.

METAL SONIC AND THE DIGITAL ODYSSEY (Metal Sonic X SMG4)
(Disclaimer: This story is rated 18 and up, in the use of drugs, strong language, a massive amount of violence, blood, and possible sex scenes. I do not own Sonic and any of the SMG4 characters. They belong to SEGA, SMG4 himself, Nintendo, and Glitch Productions.) =================================== During the day that Sonic was crowned as king, Eggman attacked Mobotropolis with a full on invasion to take down the Freedom Fighters. Eggman planed to use the Phantom Ruby to banish Sonic and his friends to another dimension, making sure they stay there and never return. After a long fight with Metal Sonic, as both he and Metal became super, Sonic was defeated but Eggman pulled the Chaos Emeralds from Sonic and Metal Sonic before the robot hedgehog could deliver the final blow. Eggman disowned Metal and called him useless before firing the cannon. But Metal chose to take the Chaos Emeralds when the portal became unstable and turned into a black hole. While grabbing the Ruby, Metal Sonic sacrificed himself to save the world, making everyone believe him to be gone... However, they did not know that he was sent to an alternate dimension, where he would begin his new life becoming a hero in the SMG4 universe, proving he will be a better hero than Sonic.

Dr Eggman's so-called strongest creation was able to contribute little to the great conflict, falling to a state of complete shutdown at the hands of a mind-bending sorcerer. For the first time since he swore to destroy the doctor and all that he stood for, Omega had once again been left with nothing to do but ruminate in the darkness of his own faintly-running programming. Before, he could blame the doctor - now, he could blame only himself. Awoken from six excruciating months out of commission, a new feeling of inadequacy begins festering within Omega. The rest of the world seems content in rebuilding the world with meaningless chores, but Omega can't shake the feeling that he's begun losing his focus, losing his touch for combat. With a first act set during Omega's time out of commission during Sonic Forces, and a second and third act then set after the end of said game but before IDW#05, Hex Value is an interquel story focused on E-123 Omega. It explores the mental toll left on the character, as well as on those close to him, from their meetings with the vicious Infinite, and what it truly means to feel weak.Concluida
Virus: Insanity
{WARNING: This is an original story of mine, and has nothing to do with any fandoms. I understand if you don't want to read it, but it would mean a lot if you tried it out.} Humanity is falling apart, and only a few people are keeping it together: the Purebloods. They fight against the violent, erratic mutants with what little sway they have left, struggling to keep humanity from falling to pieces. the mutants, on the other hand, are trying to stop the Purebloods and get them to embrace their mutant side so everyone can live together and cease fighting. After a horrible accident, Stephen finds himself caught in between the two sides, struggling to understand himself and his other half as he battles his morals and friends. Puppy Maddness
Eggman hasn't attacked for awhile and the Resistance becomes suspicious and ends up finding out that Eggman is coming up with a formula to control Sonic and friends' minds but turns up turning them and accidentally himself into little cute puppies. Will they be able to turn back to normal or will be cute, small, fluffy, and adorible forever. Worse of all, Eggman had a back up plan that he can't no longer prevent with his conditions that would go now against him along with the resistence. This is dedicated to Sonic's Birthday on 6/23. None of the art belongs to me except for a few I customized that you can tell it was made up, so all credit goes to their creator(s).Concluida
HELLBOUND {Sequel}
WARNING: Mature content +18. If you thought everything was fine and dandy after The Devil was defeated, you were dead wrong! Peace never lasts forever. Tails and the other Freedom Fighters seem to forget that way too often. It's been about one year since Sonic killed The Devil to end its genocidal rampage. Everyone began living their own respective lives, but it was not so respectful. Despite no longer afraid to be themselves it does not change how the world truly feels about them. The Freedom Fighters are nothing but hideous freaks. They know this. They are still held back by their past traumas that keep them from being able to move on and become better. Not only that, new threats and dramas keep popping out of nowhere and just make life even harder. Sure, there are no demons in the story this time, but everyone still has their inner demons. No one is free from despair. Try as they might to change things, it will prove overbearingly difficult and could tear them a part for good.Concluida
A Supersonic Summer
This book is all about summer in the Sonic universe. He and his friends chill out, go to parties, and generally make fools of themselves as they always do. I'll try to update as much as I can, and I'll do my best to keep the fourth wall (mostly) intact! We basically have the same opinions on characters' personalities in Sonic. Silver's awesomeness yet awkwardness (it's hard to explain, but it's hilarious), Shadow isn't feared anymore because of his voice actor, everybody dreads doing anything with Big, Eggman should be a model -- yeah.
