We dragons have been here all have been here our whole life. We've only seen little sun. Not much more. We've had plenty to eat and drank a lot which we are great full for ,but we want to see more! We all do! We want to go explore! To have fun and roam ,but we're trapped here with the keepers.

The Picture in My Locket
London's chilly weather has to be one of my favourites. Especially when walking through the streets at night with almost no one around. The silence of the empty city is only heard by one of my ears as I have one AirPod in. I finally go inside the pharmacy, making my way to the hair products aisle. Picking up a vanilla-scented pair of shampoo and conditioner, I head to the self-checkout. I pay for my purchase and walk out the automatic doors, bumping into someone almost instantly. The sound of a heavy object hitting the ground startled me and I look over to the person asking if they're okay, I'm met with the green-eyed gaze of a man who held my arm to help me not fall like the thing that was on his back, which looks like a guitar case... Is it broken?! - This story is based on the song "No One Knows" by Stephen Sanchez featuring Laufey. - Lana decided to enjoy her early 20s as a physical education student and just moved to London, but only knows Charlotte, a girl she met during a trip to the city almost a decade ago. A RANGER IS BORN
First off, this story was not written by me. I am posting it for a friend of mine, with permission of course. This took place in a Dungeons & Dragons game over 30 years ago. It is a about how one of the player characters got his start; Crentar Bronn. He is a human ranger of 1st level in this story. This is important to note, because it'll bring more perspective as you read the story. I was the DM (Dungeon Master) for this game. At the time, we were still in high school, which of course, gives away our age. lol I decided to have each character do it solo before they actually met up with each other. A teaser so-to-speak. Eventually, there was five player characters in the game. My friend who ran Crentar Bronn remembers this whole solo adventure to this very day in great detail. A few years after the game is when he wrote this story. We were recently reminiscing about 'old times' and he told me that he actually wrote it out as a story. He was then able to find it on an old hard drive & then sent it to me. I was very surprised at how good this is & how great his memory was from that adventure. I'm flattered that he was so inspired by it, that he turned it into a story! I hope you enjoy this early adventure of Crentar Bronn as much as we did. Perhaps, with enough comments & likes, he'll be inspired to write more chapters. THX
