A week after Bea's eighth birthday, her beloved mother leaves with a bible scripture but without many unanswered questions. Now, at the age of 17, Bea is recognised as one of the top 10 intelligent teenage girls of England. However, despite having the power to academically achieve anything, Bea just wants to be ordinary. But her dad? That's a completely different story. She hates her trouble-making ability and would swap it for anything else if it means that she will escape this everlasting storm of pain, regret and disappointment.
When will the sunshine arise?
When will the hurting stop?
What is Mum hiding?
Who is this blonde Irish stalker?
And for crying out loud, who is this "magnificent" God everyone keeps talking about!?
