"Who will you make me kill?" she asked quietly, meeting the gaze of her master, and his lips curled into a smile. He liked the fear he saw in her, the deep regret and shame she felt for actions she could not control. The slender man was simply ecstatic of the news, his heart soaring to places of bliss just at the anticipation of Kaden's reaction. "Tell me," Kaden spoke louder, trying her best to sound less than desperate. She wasn't sure if she succeeded.

Since Qui-Gon's death, Anakin had become the anchor in Obi-Wan's life. It was Anakin who gave him purpose. There was no greater pride than seeing him surpass the other Padawans, watching him grow into the prodigy everyone had expected him to be. Obi-Wan had even allowed himself a rare indulgence-gloating about his apprentice's achievements, silently basking in the knowledge that he had helped shape the Jedi who would one day be the Order's greatest. But with that pride came an overwhelming guilt. Obi-Wan had never been able to reconcile it fully, but his attachment to Anakin-his love for him-was plain as day to anyone who knew them. The way he lit up when Anakin was in the room, the way he defended his Padawan even when the Council was less than forgiving. That connection had deepened over time, morphing from the playful, nurturing affection of a master for his apprentice into something more guarded. He had become stricter with Anakin as the years passed, holding back the casual warmth he once offered so easily, because he knew that his love for Anakin was becoming too personal, too dangerous. Attachments led to fear, and fear led... well, Obi-Wan knew where that path led. He couldn't afford to let his feelings slip into attachment, even though everyone in the Temple could see it. The truth was, Anakin was his favorite. He had always been. And that scared Obi-Wan more than any battle, more than any Sith Lord. But did Anakin know that? Did Anakin realize how much he meant to Obi-Wan? Or had he misinterpreted Obi-Wan's stricter behavior as a lack of affection? The thought gnawed at Obi-Wan. He remembered sitting by Anakin's bedside, wondering if he had ever told Anakin how proud he was, how much he truly cared for him. But when Anakin had finally woken from that coma, everything had changed.

❝You have to place your foot here." Obi-wan lowered his soft hands to dip of my hips, firmly directing them while brushing my back with his chest. "Now, you have a balanced form." His hard, wet, breath rolled down the length of my neck like a persistent tide. A shiver ran through me. But his hold did not falter. Not as his fingers gently lingered on the curves of my body where he absently stroked my bare skin. Biting down on the roaring in my head, I bring my arms up to the defensive stance he'd been teaching me for the past half hour, feet sliding in compliance of his instruction. "How is this?" I breathe; completely and utterly distracted by the delicious heat of him behind me. So tempting against the cold ripples of wind that glide past the ocean waves into the tree's behind us. Leaning slightly into his touch, a rather solid mass pokes the curve of my lower back. As lighting strikes the ground, Obi-wan quickly removes his hands from my waist. I hear swift footsteps retreat a healthy distance behind me, leaving my back cold and bare. With furrowed brows, I turn to see him wiping away invisible sand on his cream coloured robes. Obi-wan clears his throat. Unwilling to look me in the eyes he quietly says, "Perfect.❞ ᴏʙΙͺ-α΄‘α΄€Ι΄ ᴋᴇɴᴏʙΙͺ κœ°α΄€Ι΄ ꜰΙͺα΄„α΄›Ιͺᴏɴ #1 obi-wan story (at some point)

The hall was empty and dark, a mist laying over the ground like a veil. The temple felt like a beating heart of something maleficent and fierce, swallowing everything it could touch whole. She could feel his hatred growing stronger with each step she took. It was a weight that pressed down on her, forcing the air from her lungs and making it hard to breathe. She was drowning in his fury, feeling herself slip away from reality with each passing second. That was what it was. Pure madness, echoing through the halls and intensifying a hundredfold each moment. Feet stopped dead in their tracks, eyes closed and focussing on the force. Through it she felt his eyes, his dark, maleficent eyes focussed on her through the shadows. He shifted through the mists, the ripples in the air reaching her and spiking her senses. Lyanna opened her eyes, focussing on the dark figure that was hiding in the darkness. "Show yourself." She could see nothing but two yellow orbs, like the eyes of a predator, prowling through the mist. To say he frightened her would be an understatement. "The doctor." He chuckled, the mad sound echoing through the halls and sending chills up her spine. Her hand instinctively went out to her lightsaber, her thumb pressing against the button and her eyes trained on his figure. "I was hoping for Kenobi." His voice was low and threatening. Maul stepped out of the shadows, his eyes glaring at her from afar as he ignited his double-bladed lightsaber at his side. The red casted eery shadows on his dark face, his yellow orbs flaring with pure hatred as he snarled. "Why are you here?"
