Mina Jha was never anyone's first choice. She hid in the shadows of Midtown Science and Technology, keeping to herself. She found out Peter's secret and he thought she would scream it from the rooftops because of her hatred for him. But she didn't. In fact it brought them closer.

After the death of Gwen Stacy she was there for him. When he stopped pulling his punches she was there waiting in hand with bandages to patch him up.
