"What?" Damon laughed as he moved back, away from me, "vampires? Those mystical beings that sparkle in sunlight and hate garlic?"
"So you don't?"
"Vampires are bedtime stories." He smiled and walked out the room.
I suddenly felt an urge of confidence and followed him, "then why wouldn't you come in to my house before I invited you?" He was half way down the stairs when I finally caught up to him.
"I have manners"
"No you don't." I laughed as we continued down to the entrance. "Anyone in this town that dismisses vampires, knows they're real." He got to the front door as I reached out and grabbed his wrist. "Or is one."
