Shinku Kurenai finds herself waking up in the ruins of a gothic castle, with no memory of how she arrived there- or of her life prior to awakening. She soon learns she has been spirited away to the Otherworld, a mystical realm on the opposite side of our own, home to all manner of spirits and supernatural beings. 

On a quest to find answers and learn the truth behind her fragmented memory, Shinku ventures across the Otherworld, encountering a vast array of spirits with their own motives to help or hinder her journey forward. Only through her experiences with the magical denizens of the Otherworld will she reveal the true purpose of her appearance there, and uncover whether she is destined to find her path home, or doomed to wind up even more hopelessly lost.
