Michael Mell and Jeremy Heere were practically inseparable throughout elementary school to Junior Year. It was during Junior Year where Jeremy ditched his friend for popularity. His climb to popularity was because of the a supercomputer called a Squip. He hadn't the slightest clue what he was getting into when he swallowed the pill sized computer but he wanted to be popular. Though somehow, this seemingly indismissible action doesn't bother Michael.
It seems possible it's because when left alone at a party, Michael befriends a girl by the online username snow_bunny. She is kind and helps Michael through a tough time. They even openly begin a relationship.
After the Squip incident, Jeremy and Michael's friendship is remained intact. But life is constantly changing and Jeremy might just shock them both...

A few things to take note of
1. Snow_bunny is a character from the Be More Chill book. She's introduced as snow_bunny but her name is actually Nicole. She's sort of Michael's girlfriend. This is obviously a slightly reinvented Nicole. One that will better fit in with the Musical plot. I'm going to pretty much keep everything we know about Nicole but tweak it a bit so it fits better. I'm also giving her more of a background since we don't know much about her personality.
2. Obviously because Michael is gay in the musical things have been tweaked slightly. Nicole and Michael will be dating. StageDorks will be dating in later chapters. But don't worry, there will be hints at Boyf Riends also.
3. This story starts with Jake's Halloween Party (yes I'm going based on the musical for this) and it's more from Michael's point of view than Jeremy's. Of course since Nicole will be included there will be some book based moments we are focused on Michael rather than the party itself.
4. Book Michael has a brother who had a Squip so he knew about it. Musical Michael didn't know about it and has no brother. In this he has a brother and is unaware.
