Long ago, before the worlds were born, there were the gods. Beings of almighty power the likes none had ever seen before. With their power they created a terrarium for them to watch over. This terrarium was a set of universes for each of them to watch over for their own enjoyment, though time has run out. The gods are beginning to lose their interest in these worlds and plan to discard them soon. In an attempt to save themselves, these worlds have created their strongest breed of creature for the entertainment of the gods, the Hero.
Follow Eurs, the first hero to every be convieved as he makes his way through the horrid world of the Terrarium.

A young blonde boy wakes up in the middle of the forest. He can't remember how he got there or much about himself either. His name is blank from his mind, and he can't even remember his family. His clothes are torn and dirty, and he wonders what happened. He's not hungry, but he wants a small snack, yet every apple tree and every berry bush he passes doesn't strike his fancy. He eventually makes it to a city. Large buildings are fallen over and the ones still standing have busted out windows and/or have smoke and fire coming from them. He can hear distant screams and yells and gunshots. There are people passing him that are strange. They're badly injured and walk slightly hunched over. Some are missing limbs, and some are missing and eye, or both. They don't even appear to be alive to the boy. They look his way but don't mind him. Tommy is confused and scared. He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other. Aerion curled into Damien, clinging like something broken. Damien stroked his hair in silence, gentle, aching. "Aerion?" he whispered. Aerion pressed closer, unwilling to let go. "You have to leave." "And is it right to let go of the only thing you've ever known?" Aerion's voice trembled. "You hurt me. I know. But it doesn't matter." Damien's voice turned low. "Because I've been your whole world for a while-your joy, your ruin. I broke you. And still, you cling to me. Not out of love, but because pain feels familiar." Damien paused. "I once felt that for you." Aerion looked up, desperate. "Then how did you let go?" Damien met his eyes. "I didn't," he said. The Alchemist at Hell's Gates
The Alchemist is considered the most useless of all the 5 classes offered in the Virtual World of 'Hell's Gates'(Warrior, Archer, Mage, Cleric, and Alchemist). Having little to no Combat Skills, and relying on real-world Chemistry Knowledge (a Lost art of sorts,) to make anything more than the most basic potions, they are very rarely seen past the first or second level, because most people change their class after seeing its uselessness. Still, this class allows Sam to spread her literal and proverbial wings as a Chemist and Inventor in a world where such a skill set is actually very valuable! Of course, with the rarity and value of their skills comes a plethora of problems, and most don't last very long at all, but Sam is determined, damn it! Hopefully, being stubborn and lucky in equal portions will be enough to survive and thrive in the world of Hell's Gates? (((Complete!!! Perhaps there'll be a Book Two if this gets enough attention???)))Complete
Soul Escape
First book in the Tales of the Divine Universe series. Alice has lived a life of abuse, neglect and oppression. Despite being a genius with a perfect memory on the cusp of obtaining her PhD at an age younger than most people even enter university, Alice has been isolated and persecuted by her family since birth. Any source of solace, once discovered, is undermined or tainted. When her beloved laptop, which is both her long term escape plan and her current means of escape through aged RPG games, is broken beyond repair by a combination of malice and bad luck it all becomes too much to bear. Her soul cracks and she is plunged into a fresh hell as she must watch her own death before she can finally leave an uncaring world behind. When she finally achieves her freedom she discovers that the Cosmos holds far more than she ever imagined. The Greek gods are real (sort of) and she is offered the choice of a fantasy life in the main universe of existence, which resembles the games she so loves, or an eternity of peace in paradise.
