From an out of the way forgotten town, the kid who loved music would meet some of the most influential artists known to the world. Some not worth the time of day but one changed the young man forever.

Working in a music store in the early 1980s, Jimmy met his share of 'legends' that walked through the door and right past him. That little record shop was just the front entrance to a recording studio hidden in the back. The thing, for Jimmy, was with little exposure to cable television he had no idea what the stars looked like, but he sure knew their sound.

One cold late autumn evening a chance meeting with a true legend using the studio stopped to talk to the kid. No one using the studio ever stopped to talk to Jimmy unless they wanted him to score some drugs for them. This man was very different. 

To the kid, he was a poet, a philosopher and a professor all rolled into one. Over the next six weeks the man would give him an education and the fatherly advice he would need.
