All her life, Cassidy Parker never had a real family. Now, after surviving the abuse suffered at the hands of her parents, her foster family, and a toxic relationship with her high school sweetheart, Cassidy has found a path to two families: one she never knew she had, and one she wants to build with Xavier Montero, a young entrepreneur in the making.

Getting her happily ever after, however, doesn't come so easily. Ghosts from the past are resurrected and threaten Cassidy's happy ending. Will she be able to overcome all the obstacles thrown her way? Or will she be searching forever for the family she longed for all her life?
