This is the official Book of the Phoenix Community.

All information and updates about upcoming books would be done here.

What is a community?

A community is a cohesive, safe, confident, prosperous and "happy place."

"A community is a group of people who are together who are working towards a common goal who have the same beliefs and help each other out through the hard times."

Why is this important?

"It allows us to support one another, interact, share experiences and our modern life struggles. Having this open bond with others is what builds valuable relationships, and gives us a deeper sense of belonging."

"Communities are also rich in resources. Your strengths may be someone else's weaknesses and vice versa."

And we aim to build on these thoughts shared by thousands of people.

Updates on this community would be published here, so be on the lookout!!!

Nyx Davis is a 15-year-old biracial, student-athlete, exploring life with her friends, Matteo, Viv, Kaylee, and Chris. Along with her brothers Denzel and Theodore. She begins her journey of self-discovery with her sexuality, identity, love life and mental wellbeing. High school isn't as romantic as movies play it out to be, but Nyx finds herself falling in love with people she'd never imagine. She maneuvers around the world within a community and school that has little to no diversity, along with stereotypes and racist ideology that seems to be at her every turn. On top of it all, her friend group seems to drift away from each other causing her to spiral with her thoughts because when it comes to those around you there are times where you think you really know someone but that's not always the case. New friendships arise and so does romance. Tension with her academics becomes more overwhelming than what she expected. Life is taking many turns, not just with her own life but with those around her as well. Read as everyone explores their own life secrets that they have kept in the dark from those around them. [COMPLETE] Sorry this may be cringe, it was written very long ago A seemingly ordinary, working college girl meets a cool, undeniably sexy boy with millions of followers at his feet. How will their completely different lives allow, or prevent them from getting what they want? Expect some drama, flirty lines, steamy scenes, funny best friends, and perhaps, an overall epic love connection. ~ Carter came around the corner as his eyes darkened with a predatory gaze. Oh no. He took a step forward, minimalizing the distance with every dominating stride, as I froze in my spot. My breath hitched as his arms finally encircled my waist and his eyes locked with mine. In one swift motion, he flipped my body so my back was pressed against his chest and hands gripped the curve of my hips. "What game are you trying to play at Valerie?" he spoke in a husky voice. Goosebumps danced along my skin as his hot breath fanned against the shell of my ear and his fingertips lit a trail of blazing heat along the length of my arm. Mentally shaking myself from the trance of that which is Carter Bryson, I tilted my head towards him and whispered; "One where you'll lose." Quickly escaping his hold on me before the tension became unbearable, I spun on my heel to face him and slowly backed away towards the exit. "Good luck though." I added mischievously. With a smirk and a devilish glint in his eyes that could even give hell a run for its money, he replied; "I'm not a player though, baby. I'm the gamemaker." ~ ❗️Mature content. We Fall Like Ashes | Wildfire Series by amelierhys
4 parts Complete Mature
{CURRENTLY UNPUBLISHED} 10/2/25 Edit: this book has been removed from Wattpad, but the characters live on in a published series titled The Wildflower Series, which can be found on Amazon and in bookstores. Alive at Night, Awake at Dawn, Attached at Heart are available now. Already at Risk, which follows Collins' brother Cameron, is coming on October 16th. Thank you so much! What sucks more than being rejected by the girl of your dreams? Finding out afterward that she's moving in with you. **** The night that Beau Martin spends with Collins Bryant is the best one of his life. He wants to repeat it. Over and over and over again. Collins, on the other hand, is all too eager cut ties when the sun comes up. But cutting ties becomes impossible when Beau and his friend, Nessa, are looking for one more roommate in their three-bedroom off-campus apartment. And Nessa-oblivious to their history-suggests the one person that Beau knows will kill him to live with: Collins Bryant. He should say no. He really should. But even with knowing she doesn't want him, Beau would do just about anything for Collins. Including giving her the open room in his apartment-because he knows she isn't going to find another one, not this close to the start of the college semester. But as Collins moves in and unpacks all her art supplies, all her secrets, Beau starts to wonder if maybe...maybe she wants him after all. And maybe getting the chance to be with her is enough to risk everything. Enough to tip the hidden scales, the ones he's been keeping underwraps.

Memoirs of A Healer/Clinical Social Worker: Autobiography of Bruce Whealton by BruceWhealton
82 parts Complete Mature
A healer. A survivor. A victim of profound injustice. How does someone who has dedicated their life to helping others find the strength to heal themselves after losing everything? In December 2019, I woke up in a psychiatric hospital following a suicide attempt. A simple conversation with another patient sparked a shift within me-a glimmer of clarity that would change the course of my life. But how did I end up there? What devastation could drive a loving spouse, a therapist, and a lifelong survivor to the edge of despair? This book unravels the journey that led me to that breaking point and how I found the strength to keep living. My story is one of triumph and tragedy-of overcoming paralyzing shyness and social anxiety to become a psychotherapist, only to have my life shattered by unimaginable injustice. Between 2000 and 2006, I lost everything I had built: my home, my career, my community, and the love that once gave my life meaning. The destruction was sudden, like a meteor crashing down, and the aftermath left me in ruins. Worse still, the world condemned me as a villain when I was only ever a victim. But this is not just a story of loss. It is a story of survival, of how I faced the darkness and chose to keep living. It is a testament to how love, hope, and the power of connection can guide us through even the longest night. Through this memoir, I share not only my pain but also my triumphs-the moments of joy, love, and meaning that kept me fighting for life. I write this book for anyone who has ever felt unseen, unheard, or unjustly condemned. I write it to show that healing is possible, that our stories matter, and that no matter how broken we feel, there is always a path forward. This is my story. But it is also a story of hope-for you, for me, and for anyone who has ever longed for justice, healing, and love.
Altered by LuellaOpal
30 parts Complete Mature
Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. But in some ways, I'm glad you're not a part of it. I just wish it wasn't like this. *** TRIGGER WARNING*** SA, abuse, suicide, substance abuse, and mental illness. This is a complete story that is much like life; fast, full of surprises, and not always how we want it to be. This has been a project of mine for over three years. It was self-published on Amazon, but after some issues in publication, I decided to just upload it on here. I hope you fall in love with these characters like I have. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. As in any coming of age story, they will experience growing pains... but will they survive them before its too late? PLEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS.
