This was a truly twisted story. Both of them had always been at each other's throats; always on the edge of a sharp blade and curled fists in the middle of a challenge. Never have they cared for the grey slump of a crowd standing in their way; their eyes full of hatred, full of passion, following each other.

Perhaps they felt less lonely that way.

Something happened then, and masks slipped, anger redirected, and the will to hurt had transformed into something less transparent yet much more enticing.
