My version of the choices novel, "The Unexpected Heiress". In 1913's England, newly wealthy American Heiress Amelia Hayes was set to marry Mr. Francis Somserset, the future Viscount of Windcroft Manor, one of the most prestigious country estates in England, in a arrangement that would greatly benefit both her family and Francis' family, who have been hit with finanical hardships; unfortunately, a short while before her wedding day, she dies suddenly, and unexpectedly. A month later, Francis now has a new bride to fill Amelia's void; her younger half-sister, Marianne. Marianne, for her own part, is determined to fulfill the arrangement, but not before she and her older brother, Garrick, get an answer to the question they've been asking: Who killed Amelia, and why? Soon after arriving in England, Marianne and Garrick find themselves navigating not just a whole new continent;,but also a new world that they never knew Amelia was involved in. Involving garden parties, galas, a Debutante Ball, and even political gatherings. As they work to solve the mystery behind her death, Marianne begins to wonder of her heart truly belongs to Francis...or someone else.
