noah sanchez has played street hockey ever since the day she could walk. one day, the 14 year old girl gets scouted to play in the junior goodwill games along with several others. though, she has never even laid a foot on the ice considering that she lived in arizona and couldn't afford to ice skate. but how much different could it be from rollerblading?

along the way she encounters another player from the team. adam banks. the two start off as a great duo until the boy fears that he might not stay as the best player for long.
