"We... Were you, like had feelings for me? Like being more than friends?" I can see her confused look and hesitation while asking.
"Yes."
I finally said it bravely. I saw disbelief registered her beautiful face. Then followed with regret. As soon as I uttered the word I knew I'm going to regret it considering that I've used a geat deal of denial and energy just to hide it.
That's when I asked myself, why now? I guess maybe because it has been a dead weight on my chest for the longest time and to be able to finally admit it to her made it seem like a confirmation and maybe a closure for both of us.
"When?" she asked weakly tears now forming on her beautiful brown eyes.
"Since five years ago Lisa." I told her matter-of-factly.
"Since the very first time I saw you."
