Love isn't always as simple as it seems. In the movies there is always a happily ever after, but does such a thing really exist? Is it possible to truly love, or even trust someone when your afraid of being hurt? And what if you have already been hurt in an unexplainable way. How could anyone love in such a messed up world like this one? How could anyone love such a messed up person? Liam Johnson is just and average guy, living an average life, with average friends. His whole life he has believed in true love and happily ever afters. When he falls for Mia he doesn't know what he got himself into. Mia Shae is just an average girl, living an average life, with average friends. But her dark past has nothing average about it. She doesn't believe in love let alone want anything to do with it. With everyone around her in pain because they were foolish enough to fall in love, why do people even care to try?

He says he loves her. He can confess it a million times, but she doesn't believe it. Liam Mitchels claim to love Jenny Michaels, but Jenny casts her doubts about his love. In Jenny's viewpoint, Liam could have any girl that he wants and there's no reason for him to like her. Jenny's been hurt once and maybe that was a long time ago. But Jenny can't let go of the past because she's afraid that if she does, it'll repeat itself. Although, Liam has loved Jenny since the eighth grade and he's ready for the next step. But as much as Jenny loves Liam, she's scared to confess her love to him. I mean, its not common in storybooks that the quiet, socially awkward girls get the popular handsome, dream guy. So, why would it be true in real life?
