Alexa, a young girl, has lived a life not known to many others.
Having grown up around lack of gender equality and in a rather unhealthy home environment, Alexa struggles to be able to trust people who cross her path. She has lived most of her life without parents to protect her from the horrors of her world. Instead, she had a father who heavily supported drug use and prostitution and the post of a mother was a big gap in Alexa's life.
The only way she could possibly survive is trusting a limited amount of people and watching her back. Do you think Alexa will be able to cope with what she will come to face later on?
The book contains graphic and mature content. There are no warnings at the beginning of the chapters.

I was dealing with a lot at the time so I came up with this book idea, where both main characters have dramatized aspects of myself in them, as a way to make myself feel lovable, so writing this now is a nostalgic and creative way of looking back, processing, and letting go of the emotions I was going through as an adolescent.
