They aren't gods, nor are they goddesses. Just beings, mortal and immortal, that take care of the Earth. And for Billions of years, they've taken pretty good care of their Planet, thanks to the Relic of Life.
Did I mention that Relic was stolen?

The Chronicles of Earth and Time
Unbeknownst to humans, there is an invisible world just beyond their own where Mother Nature and Father Time work together to keep the earth in balance; however, when a prediction is made that a threat to their world will rise, its up to Mother Nature's daughter, Terra, to stop it. Preview: "Aqua!" Terra cried as she ran to her badly injured sister. She quickly fell to her knees and cradled her sister in her arms. Her whole body was littered with burns, cuts, and bruises. It looked as if she had beaten to a pulp. Her eyes began to flutter open. She gasped and tried to get away from Terra until she realized that it was Terra. "Terra?" Aqua croaked out in a hoarse voice. "Yes, Aqua, it's me. Don't worry I will get you out of here." Terra reassured as she began to gently help Aqua sit up. "Terra, where is Aura?" Aqua asked in a raspy voice. Terra paused and thought for a minute. Where was Aura? "I don't know. She actually led me here, but I don't know where she went." A Pocket Full of Stones (Countryhumans)
Cover art is by me! Do not steal! A realm where countryhumans exist, rivals, coalitions, and relationships toss this story of them through tons of unexpected ups and downs. But for now, you'll be following the story of everyone's favorite North American, Canada. After his father made some horrible mistakes while he was a child it puts a wedge in the family that only those two know about. But as he grows older the effects of The Asylum (a place of suffering for Countryhumans after death) take a toll on how he treats others. And after countries get revived from the Asylum by a mysterious cure the majority of the time they gain a physical feature such as wings, or maybe another animal characteristic. On rare cases, there can be magical abilities gained that outweigh any sort of supernatural physicality. But Canada wasn't too lucky, and just got a pair of large wings. To hide the past from other countries, Britain does everything he can to keep the knowledge of them away from everyone, even if it causes loads of pain on his son's body. In this story each countryhuman has a stone with their flag on it. It's one of the most precious things to them because of their stone get damaged or put in the wrong hands bad things can happen. If another country gets a hold of it, the countryhuman that the stone originally belonged to gets chainlocked. Meaning that the country who got their stone has complete control of them, and to show it physically a thick metal bracelet is placed around one of their wrists. ⚠️Also no warnings on ships, so be prepared for anything.
