Queen of Madras

Karkuzhali is a 20-year-old, Tamil speaking girl from Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu, India. Being a fisherman's daughter, in the 18th century, her ideas and thoughts were suppressed. Monarchy, being the form of governance, labeled people, and allotted tasks. Ambitions and futures were decided by what caste they were born into. This story is about how Karkuzhali breaks the tradition despite betrayals.
