Pit is just an angel who yearns for the chance to go and fight, and show the world that angels aren't incapable of fighting.

However, his plan is quickly forgotten once he meets the infamous Link, whom he falls for almost immediately. But due to Palutena's stern orders, Pit can't act upon how he feels.

With the support of some of his new found friends, Pit feels certain he can beat all of the competition and quickly be known as one of the best fighters at Super Smash Bros. of all time. Anything to impress Palutena, of course, the goddess who seems to believe everything Pit does is never good enough.

But as his time at Super Smash Bros. goes on, he keeps getting visions of memories from his past that he never even knew happened to him. Who is the mysterious red-haired boy whom Pit constantly sees? And why can he not throw his feelings for Link away, when he knows the dire consequences? And not to mention that Link doesn't even REMEMBER his last boyfriend's name?

Eventually, Pit overcomes his fears of being with Link. Once his relationship with Link is exposed to the public, Palutena soon learns about it, and because of it, she goes on a rage to destroy everything Pit holds dear.

And then all Pit is is just someone just like us.

Except for the fact that he's an angel.

A fallen angel.
