Remember those nine children sent to Earth after their planet was attacked by Mogs? I thought so. Well all the things you've heard, I'm here to get your facts straight. Who am I? I'm Lucina Lore, the Seventh Garde and Vanara's Future Queen. I'm getting ahead of myself, aren't I? Well you have to learn sometime.   
The story starts off with a small part of her past life so do not be confused!

Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? They reached different places, but always end up to failure. And the problem was they don't have any clue on finding him. If you haven't read the first book yet, The Voyage of Thirteen, I recommend you to read it first, because this is the continuation of what happened in the first book. He only hunted young men, women, teens, and the occasional twelve-year old. It was terrifying, because the people had no way to stop him. Every night, someone would go missing, or come back insane. They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. I saw another person do this and they used the same cover art, and I hope you guys like my version! I, personally very much like it and hope you guys do to!
