Three crime syndicates came together to create Project Erase, an experiment to obliterate all humanity in a child and raise them into mindless soldiers and heartless assassins.

Six years after Project Erase was eradicated, Laramie was contacted by an FBI agent and was informed that someone was restarting the project. They needed her help to expose the identity of a fake CEO and figure out the real phantom CEO funding Erase.

The real mastermind behind the corporation was someone she was told she would never see again.

Someone she never stopped searching for.

Why?

She owed him a life debt.

Excerpt:

My red stilettos clicked across the marble flooring, the sound as loud as the beat of a drum pounding in the silence of the room. My skirt swished and brushed against the tops of my knees, swaying with me as I walked. My gun and silencer were both tucked into the purse I held in my hand and they were as easily accessible as my red lipstick.

I came here to accomplish a goal and that's exactly what I plan on doing.

"Pierce, please I'm trying to study." I let out an aggravated sigh as my eyes flickered upward from the white-colored pages of my textbook. Pierce approached closer to me, sliding the textbook out from my lap and throwing it to the side. "Take a break." His voice demanded as he pressed his lips up to my neck, as he left soft kisses on my skin. I threw my head back, closing my eyes shut as the stress in my body left. I had been studying non-stop for my upcoming chemistry test and I had to admit it'd be nice to have a break. "I really need to study-" I started but couldn't finish my sentence as Pierce pressed his lips to mine. I gave in to his kiss as his lips moved in sync with mine. He pushed me flat down on the bed as his body hovered over mine. His hands grabbing my hips as he scrunched up my clothes, pushing them up to reveal my skin. I placed my hands flat on his chest as his lips continued to move with mine. The kiss turning from soft to passionate within seconds. He grabbed my thigh, forcing my legs to wrap around his torso not breaking his lips away for a second. I moved my hands down to the body of his shirt, tugging on the end of them. "For fuck sakes," Pierce muttered as he broke away from me, his phone ringing. He pulled away from me, grabbing his phone off the nightstand only for me to get a glance that it had been Xander calling. He placed the phone up to his ear, rubbing his face in his hands. "What is it?" I asked in concern, watching Pierce's expression change from annoyance to worry as Xander spoke through the phone. I waited for Pierce to say something but he didn't before hanging up and grabbing my leather jacket off the chair that was nearby, throwing it over to me. "We need to go. NOW." Pierce stated, his voice demanding and cold as he reached for his keys and walked out of the apartment. I sat on the bed, clutching my jacket in my hands as I stared ahead at the ground, swallowing a lump in my throat. Can I just catch a break for once?

I can't keep the smile off my face as I take my seat on the plane. I slide my bag under the seat and lean back. I close my eyes and let a blissful smile grace my face. He said I wouldn't be able to run. As if. I'm vaguely aware of someone taking the seat next to mine, but I pay no attention to said person. "So where we headed?" I choke on my own spit as my eyes fly open and whirl around to face the owner of the familiar voice. His eyes are hidden behind those damn sunglasses and a rather smug smile graces his face. I continue choking and he does nothing other than flip through a magazine. That smug smile never leaving his face. "You still haven't answered the question." "To hell." I finally manage to choke out. "Awesome," He flips a page in the magazine, "It's about time I returned home. You know, bodies to burn, lost souls to torture, I've missed it. It'll be fun." *** Nicolette Moore. He was staring at me with an expression of pure hatred. I stared back. I must admit, even with such a nasty look on his face, he was rather attractive. His powerful arms were crossed, the unzipped leather jacket tight around the biceps. I could just make out dark tattoos poking out of the white collar of his uniform, brushing against his sharp jawline. His dark brown hair, do dark it was nearly black, looked as if he had sat in front of the mirror styling it, or perhaps he had just got out of bed. Still, as I turned to sit, I couldn't help but feel as if those deep, storm blue eyes were still watching me, burning a hole in my back. I didn't know his name, but the look he gave me made me feel as if he knew everything, and I mean everything about me. Word count: 90,000 warnings: mature themes and violence

Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing.
