After being kicked out of the forest by Glory, Deathbringer is forced to team up with Sunny to solve murder mysteries in the more dangerous parts of the Sandwing Kingdom.
While the ex-assassin is reluctant, Sunny is positive that he will grow to love the job as they become a pair of unlikely best friends.
And maybe, with Sunny's wits and Deathbringer's strength, they can solve a few murders along the way.

@LaurenABlack started this but they hadn't updated it in a long time and I like it so I asked if I could pick it up and they said yes. The description below and the first three chapters are by them. Some of my chapters might be based off a show called Psych.

WoF Fanfiction - discontinued and really bad Hybrid was, well, a hybrid. She used to have a good life, kept hidden from the public. She didn't know what type of dragon she was and had no friends, but that didn't matter. She had her icewing dad, who took her out hunting and loved her enough to make up for everything else twofold. She thought that her difference wasn't necessarily bad. That all changed one day. Hybrid and her father were out, close to where they usually went hunting, and were celebrating her third birthday by going whaling. They were spotted. Another icewing took down her father, killing him for harboring a hybrid. Hybrid was dumped in the desert outside of the wall, where she was found by a sandwing. The sandwing drug her out to die in the dunes. She survived. Barely. After being stabbed by the sandwing's tail barb, she thought she was done for. The last thing that she remembered was her front talons feeling way too cold, especially in contrast to her sunburnt body. Then, black. When she woke up, she was even more different. A/N: I apologize, because, looking back, I kind of lost any inspiration for the first idea, can't mesh it with the idea I tried to throw in, and it would not make sense to ignore either of them....... So yeah this is discontinued, it's really a bad story. I may revamp it into a situation that makes more sense some time in the near future, though. After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom.
