Inked soulmate AU.
When Virgil's soulmates make first contact at the age of five he goes to show his mom. Little does he know that would be the biggest mistake he'd ever made. He's locked away no way to contact his soulmates and they're left thinking he's dead.

I write Virgil's anxiety off my own which is very extreme. If you feel I am misrepresenting anything please go ahead and let me know I will change it! I tried to do research on any and all disorders I don't personally have.
Ok another sidenote. The entire story I'm going to be hinting at something it won't be obvious. If you can guess it I'll tell you if you're right! I'll give two hints before we start,
1. blood stains the skin in this AU meaning that the red will appear on their bodies.
2. Why does nobody question his death? There was only the finger marks
Ok so I'll be writing another story same thing but in a different character's point of view! This means we'll only be following Virgil so you can't rule out character's until the book comes out.

Patton lives in a world where the first words your soulmate says to you is written on your skin. The permentant presence of the words 'You're in my seat' on his thigh had yet to disappear until his soulmate utters them one day. Deep down he dreaded that day. You see, Patton had no interest in a romantic relationship which was abnormal in a world ruled by the soulmate system. Virgil hated the soulmate system. He hated it because it gave him the words 'well aren't you a ray of sunshine' printed boldly on his forehead. Luckily for him, foundation was his best friend (and his only friend, for that matter). "Confrontation" -A Prinxiety Fanfic
Virgil has always tried his hardest to stay out of the the way of the others in the mind scape, to not cause any problems. He was a very nonconfrontational person, after all. But sometimes, confrontation seemed to hunt him down. ' "And lastly, it really comes down to who's more experienced." I smirk a bit at him and bite my lip, smug as he stares back at me. Roman seems to lean in a fraction of an inch, still not breaking eye contact. Then his eyes flicker over my the rest of my face breifly, and my breath catches in the back of my throat. ' ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ This story is of everyday life in the mind, and draws inspiration from a lot of books, including, but not limited to, "THE QUIET", "Stitched", and "far too damaged", along with references to other books I have read in my previous fandoms. This was kinda odd for me, writing in Virgil's point of view, mostly because I like to stray very, VERY far from the whole, "dayum they're hawt... Woit wat?" Kinda stuff. But Virgil is kinda, y'know, anxiety... Either way, I still tried to keep it on a restraining order, minimum distance of 40 ft. ;P. However, there definitely was some internal conflict going on.
