Everything about him is golden...

Tara Ravenscar is lonely. Her parents are in Idris meeting with the Clave and instead of letting her stay at the San Francisco Institute by herself, they make her stay at the New York Institute with the Lightwood children and Jace Wayland. Tara has been mostly training and going on missions, trying to avoid Jace and their awkward history, when one night, on a seemingly normal demon killing mission, they meet a mundane girl who can somehow see everything that's happening, stuff that mundanes aren't supposed to see. If the last thing Tara wants is to be another one of Jace's conquests, then why does she feel so jealous when Jace and the new girl start to spend so much time together. 

Jace is thrilled that Tara is staying at the New York Institute, he can finally try to make things right with her, and tell her how he truly feels, but she seems to be avoiding him like the plague. It doesn't help that a new Shadowhunter has emerged from nowhere, and that she's stunningly beautiful.

As they grew older Kayla grew feelings for Alec, as did Alec. Soon they started dating and have been since. The four shadow hunters' daily life was the same, they went on a missions and killed demons. That was until Clary Fray came along. What will happen once she comes along and finds out that she is a shadow hunter herself like her mother and learns about the shadow world. What will happen when they find out Valentine is still alive and has Jocelyn Fray; Clary's mother. They and The Clave will do anything to get their hands on the Mortal Cup; the most important thing in the shadow world. Before downworlders do, better yet before Valentine does.
