Gordy Bird is the sweetest, cutest little Southern boy you'll ever meet in your life. He's a charmer, and he's not your typical sixteen year old guy. He wants to be a charity founder for Autism, he is interested in medicine, and he's very close with his homophobic mother. How could someone be as sweet as Gordy? They say behind every smiling face is a dark past, and Gordy definitely fits to that saying. In the beginning of his junior year in high school, Gordy encounters the dark, rude, and arrogant Ace Fletcher, who insults his faded bluejeans before even saying "Hello." These two boys clash, each determined to change the other person at any cost. But are they ready to pay the price once feelings start flying and passion starts burning? Or will this rivalry and friendship send everyone tumbling down?
