❝ Because there are times when our will just isn't enough.❞
Rozaline and Katherine, two girls, so similar, yet so different. Undoubtedly, one of the only things keeping them together is their shared blood, being the elder daughters of the King. But what happens, when something that was decided upon years ago becomes important once again and they can't help but realize, that though time might have drifted them apart none of that matters when dreams are being crushed? Emotions can't be changed, no matter how hard one tries and the desperate struggle to escape the marriages their father had settled years ago can either help, or destroy friendships within the castle.

Defiance. Resilience. Those are the traits that are not appreciated from the lower class. Keep you head down, keep quiet, and do your job. That was all that was expected and wanted from you. But what happens when one very quiet rebellion, and one very loud one, come together? Unlikely allies band together, which leads to a chain of events that no one has anticipated. One small action, that's all it takes. A/N: This story is partly fantasy. Nothing supernatural introduced, but it was all created in my mind and has no link to any time in history in particular. Also, this story was inspired by a story I wrote as a young child (8-10) and I was seemingly incredibly morbid at that age (of course altered and expanded, as my idea was rather simplistic).
