Prologue
We can all pretty much say that neither Derek or Braeden has had a decent relationship. Braeden is a bad ass, sexy, independent mercenary who doesn't need a man slowing her down. Derek Hale has had his fair share of homicidal girlfriends in the past, and he feels connected towards Braeden. He completely trusts her, and she trusts him. All Derek wants to do is protect Braeden, and keep her close. Braeden can take care of herself, but she can't ignore the warm tingly feelings she gets from being around him. But one morning, the young couple gets exciting news. Braeden is pregnant. Will Braeden give into Derek and let him take care of her and their child or will she continue with the life she's always known and leave him behind?
