Nagsimula ang kwentong ito nang makaranas ako ng magkakasunod na nakakapangilabot at creepy na mga bangungot nang bisitahin ko ang lumang bahay ng aking lola sa probinsiya.  

Maraming kwentong bayan na ang narinig ko. Nariyan ang makakaramdam ako ng kaunting kilabot, mapapalagay kung maaari ko rin bang maencounter ang bagay na iyon sa totoong buhay, o kaya'y mapapaisip ako kung may katotohanan nga ba ang lahat ng iyon. 

Sa buong buhay ko, ni isa sa mga kwentong bayan na narinig ko ay pawang kababalaghan lang at walang patunay. Walang nakakaalam kung hango ba sa totoong buhay o bunga lang ng malikot na pag-iisip ng ilan. 

Pero lahat ng iyan, nabago nang bigla akong magising sa gitna ng aking panaginip. Bangungot. Bawat gabi, nagsisitayuan ang mga balahibo ko. Nananaginip ako ng mga bagay na hindi ko alam kung bakit ko nakikita. 

Narito ang tala ng nakakakilabot kong karanasan sa tuwing sumasapit ang madilim na gabi. Ito ang aking Midnight Diaries.Todos los derechos reservados

She sees me enter and shoots me that amazing smile and prepares my order without even asking what I want, she knows. She'll offer a greeting but all I can do is nod my head. She makes me lose my word's. Deep in my mind I wonder if she could be the one that could change my mind on love and that scares me. For now I'm satisfied at seeing her for the few minutes it takes to get my coffee. Besides I'm a killer, a future mob king and she's this delicate flower that wouldn't understand my world. It's best to cut my loses and move on. If only I knew her name..
