Hajime Hinata wasn't expecting much when he won the lottery to attend Hope's Peak Academy. The only reason he applied was so he could guarantee scholarship money to go to the same university as his childhood friend Chiaki. Being an average student, he didn't think he would make much of an impact on his classmates or even the school as a whole.
