«Ahora» es una palabra que acaba de terminar, un instante que ni tú ni yo podemos retener. Cuando sentí que todo era demasiado -y que para tanto tenía tan poco- decidí anotar. Y que los pasajes del tiempo debían quedar refugiados en cajas extrañas o inconexas, quizá ilegibles, pero a salvo de todo aquello que devora la memoria. Todo ocurre entre el curso de la salida a la puesta del sol; ahí afuera, tocando la puerta, como la tarde viniendo hacia ti, para que entre sorbos de café e impregnado de toda sensibilidad, en solitario silencio puedas anotar en la libreta. "Now" is a word that has just ended-an instant that neither you nor I can hold onto. When I felt that everything was too much-and that for all that, I had so little-I decided to write it down, to let the passages of time be sheltered in strange, disjointed boxes, perhaps even unreadable, yet safe from all that devours memory. Everything unfolds between sunrise and sunset; out there, knocking on the door like the afternoon arriving to you, so that, between sips of coffee and steeped in pure sensitivity, in solitary silence you might record it in your notebook.
