"Don't tell me this is how it ends." He whispers, fear rocking his voice. We stand at opposite ends of the throne room, both breathless from the events that just took place.
"Ben. Don't do this." I plead, my glossy eyes spilling over rivers of tears. "Don't make me choose."
"Do you still want this?" He asks, motioning between us. He felt so close, yet we felt light-years apart.
"It's not about what I want, Ben. It's about where we are right now. You and I can never be on the same side. No matter how much we need each other, the Force will always find a way to break us apart; sever the tie we hold. It's just not possible, Ben. I'm sorry."
