After the Battle of the Ring unfolded, Aragorn went on to carry out a long, peaceful reign with his wife by his side as they rebuilt the kingdom of Gondor's resources and spirits.
Lessien and Legolas's love grow as Lessien adjusts to the royal life.
Many years have gone by, Eldarion is grown, Arwen has served many years as a faithful queen, Lessien goes by a different name altogether, and King Aragorn is growing old. His time is coming to a close, which means the time to announce his successor is approaching.
Aragorn's marriage has reaped two children, Lessien and Eldarion. Two choices. Two leaders. Two paths that the great kingdom of Gondor could continue down and, perhaps, two paths that could lead to the realm's success or to its doom.
