"I love you so much Aphrodite, and you scare me because you are so strong and I don't want to be the one to break you!" * Aphrodite Muerte is hiding something and so is her long term crush Thanatos Amaro. Both are helplessly in love with one another and both have very different approaches on how to hide it. Love makes you do crazy things and with Aphrodite and Thanatos, it's no different. Pretending to hate Aphrodite, Thanatos manages to hide his true feelings which takes a toll on both of them. Thanatos has no idea what he's doing. Past trauma rules over Aphrodite at night causing nightmares and panic during the day. Aphrodite has no idea how to live life outside of pain. Abuse has a way of shaping people, and she's barely mended from being so broken. Both have friends that force them closer but their love might just be the reason why they end up staying together. Afterall, someone can only stay away from the person they're in love with for so long. One argument and a couple of confessions later leaves them on a confusing path that has the opportunity to be beautiful or disastrous. Love is magical but it is also savage. For Aphrodite and Thanatos, they are each other's downfalls and each others saviors. How long they last is up to them. How much they go through to get together is up to fate. Can life get weirder after you fight an army of eldritch horrors? Well, it can, if you're Innocent Sun. Equestria has been plunged into dark powers not meant to be controlled, but then, what about Chaos Magic? Actually, things might only get worse. Whatever the case, Sun's back, and with the help of her friends, old and new, she's ready to use her witchcraft to fight back against (and probably crush beneath her hoof) whatever dares to threaten her peaceful life! However, Sun isn't the only one who's important - any character can be! Through the eyes of biased narrators, both original and from MLP:FiM, read harrowing journeys across Equestria's forgotten lands and familiar sights, or maybe just a wacky adventure full of nonsense. ...Still reading? Okay, good. So, this is obviously a sequel to my last story, Songs of Innocence, but if you haven't read that, that's okay! The explosive first chapter of this story will seamlessly make you understand who Sun is, which is what's most important! You can even think of the previous story as just the pilot, while this is the main series, so to speak. This story will be a much more... casual read. Unlike SoI 1, this one is not based on a previous draft, so I'll just be making it up as I go along this time. Oh, and by the way, I think I gotta say this, so... I don't own any concepts, characters, or locations canon to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, such as (but not limited to): the Elements of Harmony, Fluttershy, and Equestria. "I got you something." He told her pulling away, while she watched him curiously until he pulled out a pandora bag. Her eyes widened at the necklace with an infinity symbol in crested with small little diamonds. "How you even afford this kari?" She questioned, unable to take her eyes off of it. "Shit, my savings." He rubbed the back of his head that possessed his starter loc twists. "That was so nice of you, you didn't have too." She smiled softly finally looking at him, "Can you put it on me?" He stood behind her and she moved her hair out of the way as he put it around her neck and clipped it back together. Her hand immediately went to it. "I'm never gone take it off." She promised him turning to face him. "I love you kari." "I love you too, hone. Til Infinity." --- When an unfortunate sequence of events suddenly separates two bestfriends, Dakari and Honesty, with no plausible reason, it's shakes up the world of the two inseparable individuals. With no goodbyes shared, Dakari was left feeling alone and heartbroken by the sudden disappearance of the only person outside of family that he cared for deeply. The outside world declared Dakari mad at the world, and he didn't think he could ever get over the missing void created by her absence. When honesty finds herself back where it all began, she discovers the hard way that Dakari no longer wants anything to do with her. The unexpected reunion rekindles unbearable memories of their deep connection and the painful separation that slowly but surely leads them back to each other. It's up to them to pick up the pieces of their broken friendship as they confront their past and face what's in store for their future, whether it's together or apart.
