To the rest of the world, Lexi has always been a normal Teenage girl, Sure she probably played a little harder than most of the girls in her class. Most of them worried more about their fancy clothes, makeup and purfect hair then wheather she landed that trick shot she was working on or not. Not that Lexi didn't enjoy those things. she would rather get down and dirty with the boys then sit on the sidelines content to watch. But with her mother in the hospital, a hateful step-father at home, and a little sister to look after, life as anything but easy. And when the 'Will' of a mysterious grandmother she never knew leaves her with a box of the old women’s things, a cryptic and rather foreboding message. She begins to see she was never a Normal girl. With the help of James, a popular boy at school, she works to unlock the secrets of her family’s past in order to save her future. What does the message mean? Just who was her grandmother? Why has she never heard of her? And what will she do now? As Lexi struggles to find the answers to these questions and the biggest question of all. Can Lexi survive the truth about herself and her family, or will it get her killed?
