When the crownprince turns 18, there is something called: the selection. An event where 35 girls come to the palace to steal the heart of the prince. And its something Amilia is not looking forward to.
Amilia Windsor is the daughter of the palace headguard, a sassy and sarcastic girl that has been living in the palace for her whole life.
When the eldest son of king Xander and queen Anais turns 18, the slection begins. She hates it alsmost as much as she hates Maxim himself. They have always been like this and tease eachother everytime they meet.
Now that the selection has started, she starts to like him more than she anticipaded.

This story is about a love story between Lili Reinhart and Cole sprouse. Lili is a five from a small town (they have like a caste system one being royalty which is the highest and 8 being the homeless and the lowest caste) and Cole sprouse is the prince soon to be king of illea looking for a princess soon to be queen so a annual tradition called the selection starts. 30 selected girls, come to the palace to compete for Prince Cole's heart. All girls in illea that are in age between 17-20 get a form for the selection it's optional of course. Most girls are bound to do it because if your in the selection you are paid a high pay weekly, and once you are out of the selection you are automatically a three. The selection was a once in a lifetime opportunity for most girls but for lili it was a nightmare. Leaving her secret boyfriend Archie was the complete opposite of what she wanted. Previously known as 'my selection' in the books it's maxons selection but what if it was the other way around? in this story, it's America's selection.
