Lucie Summers is an average woman with a perpetual habit of overthinking. She has loving friends and family, and she is happy working in her desired field of designing. 
Her last romantic relationship gave her more stress than solace, and since then she hasn't really felt a connection with anyone.  

Marlon Grant is clearly not the "boy-next-door" type, but he moves in as Lucie's new neighbor.  He thinks his move to a new place as just thing of convenience and professional obligation. 
A chain of events make them more than just neighbors and they find themselves in each other's presence at more than just the newly constructed residential complex.

Lucie knows better than to crush on the new, hot neighbor and so tries to ignore his omnipresence in her life. However, Marlon realizes that it is not just a case of natural attraction, but something more deeper than that.
