Love at first sight is as laughable as the unicorn growing in my garden underneath the thicket of my imagination.
I wish although, that I had known this fact in the beginning, In the spring when I finally got my wings into the world, in the beginning of that summer it all began, when my heart didn't know the difference.
But I an glad I went against every caution and I am glad that my self attracted scars gave me a reason to fight to stay. To stay and thread my lust through the winter right into the love I know this summer...

I can remember the fear of the tree falling in front of my car, after it was struck by lightning. I can remember how it felt, cold rain on a summer afternoon pounded on my skin as I stepped out of my car. I was headed home to my parents house after graduating college.
