After Shulk defeating Zanza and creating a new world, Bionis is now full of peace. After a millennia has passed, a new world is made. The world is called Orvelia and it is a world full of Elves, Orcs, Harpies, and Humans. A young boy found a red sword in his attic and he laid his fingers on the blade. Will the sword change his life and save the world? Or will it lead him to an strong painful outcome?
DISCLAIMER : This is first ever fan fiction that I ever made. I'm gonna be the first person to make King's raid fanfiction inserting the reader. I also played Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, which is very awesome, so I'm going to add some details. I haven't played the DLC, so don't go hard on me about things I'm going to add in this novel that doesn't seem right. Just to remind you guys, I don't make massive harems, so I am gonna pair you up with one or two people. Also, I don't own King's Raid nor Xenoblade Chronicles. Here is an epic fantasy story set in my D&D world that I wrote not only for fans of RPGs and fantasy in general, but for all my friends. This story about my character Erion, a young elven warrior; and his many allies and enemies in the kingdom of Briarbeth. In this vast story, you'll meet daring heroes, joy-bringing mages, ruthless orcs and more. This novel has a multitude of inspirations and influences, chief among them being Dungeons and Dragons, The Lord of the Rings & The Hobbit, and The Legend of Zelda. I even take cues from anime such as Little Witch Academia, and favorite video games like Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and various JRPGs like Chrono Trigger. Look closely, and you may find subtle references to some of the aforementioned franchises at different points in the book :) Just a little warning: The story, especially the first couple of chapters, starts off with a several common fantasy tropes and clichés at first glance (e.g. elves and orcs, an old wizard with a pointy hat and a grey beard, taking treasure from dragon etc.), but it will grow into something a bit more unique as the story progresses. Please forgive my usage of Tolkienesque tropes, as I came up with the concept of the series when I was only fourteen (At the time I was making it in the style of old school fantasy, so what can you expect :p). Even I, as the creator will say it is cliched or stereotypical in some aspects. I only refuse to change them due to spending a lot of time with them during my high school years (And tbh i love elves/dwarves/orcs fantasy). With that aside, I hope that you will love my fantasy universe full of adventure and lore. Now sit back, relax, and embrace yourself for a magical adventure with Erion and his friends! Inspired by "Romance is in the Air" by @Azadia_the_Rito (please check them out their works are incredible) I've decided to try my hand at making a fanfic with the endgame being my favorite pairing: Link x Revali. I know it may seem odd to spoil but I want people to know what they're getting into. (BTW this is my FIRST time writing one of these so please bear with me) This will not be a purely romance story but it will be a major part later on. I just really wanted to dive into this wonderful world with my own touch, so here's how I'm going to do it. To start Revali is my favorite character in Breath of the Wild and I think all the champions deserve more story and interaction with Link. This will be taking place after Calamity Ganon's defeat so be wary of spoilers. This will be a SLOW burn and when I mean slow I mean like halfway between a snail and a glacier. Not crazy slow but just enough to make it worth the payoff. I'll say that right now no matter what happens there will be a happy ending because I can't bring myself to write a sad one. Not that it won't get sad along the way, oh no I'm going to take hearts and mince them into a fine chopped stew of emotion. I promise however I will preface anything I feel worth warning about in the beginning of each chapter in authors notes.
