The Rules

James and I only had two rules in our relationship. He told me to never go into the basement. I told him to never bring his profession home.

Sadly for us, rules are made to be broken.

Amelia has lived a safe life before meeting James in a bar. Though she knew better than to fall in love with him, she could not stop herself from doing just that. It was silly to believe his past would never come to haunt the two of them. It was silly to believe Amelia wouldn't be tempted by it too.
