What do you do when you're plagued with monsters of your past? You run away.

Shohei always does. Leaving Sendai, dropping out of art college in Osaka to run to Tokyo...everything he does is inspired by the need to run away. Fight or flight and his default answer have always been to leave.

But now, he meets Junya-a headstrong guy, six years his junior. He is stubborn, a bit childish and carries an air of risk everywhere he goes. He is everything Shohei isn't asking for, and yet he finds himself drawn to him.

Will he be able to let go of the past and take a chance on whatever is budding between them?

The whispers of a heart [BL]

15 parts Complete

After Masato Keita gets into a car accident, he spends a year in a coma. When he wakes up, he finds out that he has gained a rather strange ability: he can hear people's thoughts when he touches them. Disillusioned with the people around him, he decides to take a step back and isolates himself. He grows fonder of books and animals, especially cats, and becomes a novelist. His life is simple and quiet, but what happens when he is assigned a new editor? Will he be able to withstand the storm that is about to come his way, or call defeat and accept the changes? Kurosawa Rintarou is a rather simple-minded man, who prefers to smile and be happy. Despite the hardships he had to endure, he managed to maintain a positive outlook on life. He becomes an editor for Suzumori Publishing and gets assigned a rather difficult author. Will this person be able to rattle his happy-go-lucky composure or will Rintarou be able to melt the ice around that person's heart? When someone manages to slip into your heavily guarded sanctuary you call heart, does that mean you are too weak or that he is too powerful? Read to find out how these two, seemingly opposite personalities, interact and grow closer.
