"Students of Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, I am sad to announce my retirement in one week. I have become of age and also a family member of mine from Scotland has fallen ill. I have worked at this school for 16 years and over those years, I have watch students grow and develop. I am truly sad that I won't be there when you all leave. But I know every one of you will go far in life. In good news, i'm sure you will love your new principal! His name is Mr. Styles and he is a bit closer to your age so he can see things from a younger person's perspective. I will miss each and every one of you. If you want to come and say a personal goodbye, remember the door to my office is always open."
