Story 14 of the Newborn Saga, also called the Spirit World Arc. Nolan York, now a member of the Spirit KND, must work with new comrades in the afterlife to protect the Tower of Babel from Umbra Witch, Bayonetta, and a mysterious man who plan to use Babel's power for a heinous plan that threatens the Mortal World. While Lord Death, Spirit, and Stein tried to find a way to locate Soul, the team had to control Maka's reckless behavior of the weaponless meister. For some reason, Kid was the only one who could get through to her. They all decided to let Maka stay at Kid's place for a while. Kid didn't seem to mind, until he starts realizing what he truly feels towards her. Will Kid tell Maka what she means to him? Will Maka remain weaponless?
